HACC Sets New Hearing in Marchenko Case

The High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled a new preparatory meeting for October 24 to consider the lawsuit of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office against People's Deputy Lyudmila Marchenko for the confiscation of assets, as the judges have declared their recusal.
As is known, the SAPO filed a lawsuit against People's Deputy Marchenko. In it, the prosecutor requests the confiscation of the following assets of the politician: five apartments with areas of 37.2, 60.2, 97.2, 92.3 and 75.5 square meters; property rights to apartments in the Gravity Park residential complex and a 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 car. The total value of the assets is over 8.2 million UAH.
According to the SAPO, in order to conceal the fact of acquiring the specified property, the People's Deputy registered property rights for her father and her brother's cohabitant. An analysis of the property status of the People's Deputy, her family members and relatives established the impossibility of acquiring these objects at the expense of legal income. Later, the Supreme Court of Justice took up the claim for consideration and scheduled a preparatory meeting for October 3. At that time, the judges announced their recusal.
To appoint a civil case on the claim of the SAPO prosecutor against (Marchenko Lyudmila Ivanivna, Tsipovyaz Ivan Stepanovych and Lipsmonova Viktoriya Viktorivna - ed.) on the recognition of assets as unfounded and their recovery into state revenue for consideration in a preparatory court session at 08:00 on October 24, 2025, which will be held in the premises of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine
Lyudmila Marchenko is a figure in the EBK base
As a reminder, the SAPO has referred the case of People's Deputy Lyudmila Marchenko to court. According to the prosecution, the deputy, together with her assistant Anastasia Kolesnyk, promised the citizen, in exchange for a monetary reward, to obtain a permit to travel outside Ukraine, as well as to enter relevant information into the Shlyakh information system.
