Bail of UAH 9.08M Paid for Vityuk

The High Anti-Corruption Court has received UAH 9.08 million in bail for Ilya Vityuk, the former director of the cybersecurity department of the Security Service of Ukraine. The NABU and the SAPO suspect him of illicit enrichment and false declarations.

This is reported by the media with reference to the head of the communications department of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, Olesya Chemerys.

A bail of UAH 9.08 million was paid for the suspected former head of the SSU department, determined by the decision of the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court

Ilya Vityuk is a suspect in the EBK database.

As a reminder, NABU and SAPO reported suspicions of Ilya Vityuk, former director of the SBU cybersecurity department, in illicit enrichment. According to the investigation, in December 2023, the suspect purchased an apartment for UAH 21.6 million and registered it for his wife. At the same time, according to the contract, its value is UAH 12.8 million.
