HACC Extends Duties for Ex-Naftogaz Head Kobolev

The HighAnti-Corruption Court has extended the remaining duties of the former Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine Andriy Kobolev until August 5. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses him of embezzling UAH 229 million in bonuses.
As is known, the anti-corruption court reduced Kobolev's bail amount, but left the list of obligations unchanged: to report a change in his place of residence; to refrain from communicating with a number of people and to hand over his foreign passports for safekeeping.
Later, the court returned Kobolev's international passports, but extended the validity of his remaining duties. The SAPO prosecutor requested that their validity be extended for another two months.
Partially satisfy the request of the SAPO prosecutor to extend the term of the duties imposed on the accused (Kobolev – ed.) in criminal proceedings. The term of the ruling shall be set until August 5, 2025 inclusive.
Let us remind you that Andriy Kobolev is a person involved in the EBK base.
