The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled for consideration a lawsuit for the confiscation of an apartment and two non-residential premises in Kyiv used by Serhiy Losych, head of the second department of the Department for Combating Drug Crime of the National Police.

To refuse to grant the representative's motion to close the proceedings in the case. To close the preparatory proceedings and schedule the case for trial on the merits in an open court session at the premises of the High Anti-Corruption Court on April 30, 2025 at 4:30 p.m.

– the decision states.

According to the SAPO prosecutor, in 2021, Losych's wife's sister acquired an apartment and two non-residential premises in one of the residential complexes in the city of Kyiv with a total value of almost UAH 2.5 million. According to the prosecutor's office, the policeman's family and his relatives did not have enough funds to purchase this property.

After purchasing the aforementioned assets, the official concluded an apartment rental agreement with his wife's sister and transferred 7,000 UAH to her card account every month for the alleged rent. He submitted payment documents at the place of service for the calculation and payment of monetary compensation to the police officers for renting housing. His wife's sister returned the funds received to his card account on the same or the next day. Thus, the official received compensation for the alleged rental of housing in the amount of almost 150 thousand UAH.

Let us remind you that back in January, the SAPO requested the civil confiscation of an apartment and two uninhabited premises in Kyiv used by Serhiy Losych.

We also previously reported that the Supreme Court of Ukraine  has seized the assets of  former Kyiv City Council deputy Denys Komarnytskyi, his wife Iryna, and his driver Yuriy Dashkov in a case involving land grabbing in the capital.
