HACC extends duties for ex-prosecutor Gunko
The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended the term of office of former prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office, Oleg Gunko, until June 27. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses him of receiving illegal benefits.
As is known, the anti-corruption court extended Gunko's arrest with alternative bail. Money was deposited for Gunko and he was released from custody. The suspect was given the following obligations: to appear upon every request; not to leave Kyiv without permission; to report a change of residence; to refrain from communicating with four persons; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.
Later, his electronic bracelet was removed and he was allowed to leave Kyiv to travel to the village of Maznyky, Khmelnytskyi district, Khmelnytskyi region. The SAPO prosecutor requested that these obligations be extended.
To extend the term of the duties assigned to the accused (Gunka) for two months. To set the term of the duties assigned to the accused until June 27, 2026 inclusive.
