HACC extended duties for Logistics Forces officer

The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court extended until July 16 the remaining duties assigned to Volodymyr Vysotsky, Deputy Head of the Aviation and Technical Support Department of the Central Aviation Support and Air Defense Armaments Department of the Logistics Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This decision was made by the Supreme Court of Ukraine on May 16, reports "Word and Deed".
As is known, the anti-corruption court set a bail of UAH 2 million for Deputy Head of the Logistics Forces Department Vysotsky. He was also given the following obligations: to appear upon first demand; not to leave the Kyiv region without permission; to report any change in his place of residence and work; to refrain from communicating with another suspect in this case and witnesses; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.
Later, the electronic bracelet was removed from him, but the remaining obligations were extended. Therefore, the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office requested that these remaining obligations be extended.
To extend the term of the suspect (Vysotsky – ed.) of the obligations stipulated in Part 5 of Article 194 of the Criminal Procedure Code until July 16, 2025 inclusive, but not longer than the term of the pre-trial investigation

As a reminder, NABU, SSU and SAPO have exposed two officials of the Armament Command of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for corruption. According to the investigation, the heads of two structural units of the Central Directorate for Aviation and Air Defense Armament of the KSL of the Armed Forces of Ukraine abused their official position in favor of representatives of two private companies, ensuring their victory in tenders for the purchase of aviation components.
With the assistance of officials, price proposals from a predetermined group of participants were submitted for consideration by the commission, which was supposed to create the appearance of competition. Instead, more profitable commercial proposals from another participant were either deliberately distorted or completely ignored. As a result, the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine concluded unprofitable contracts and overpaid for products by UAH 27.3 million.
