HACC extends obligations for ex-Vice Prime Minister Chernyshov

The High Anti-Corruption Court extended until August 4 the term of the duties assigned to former Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of National Unity Oleksiy Chernyshov in the case of abuse and receiving illegal benefits.
As is known, the anti-corruption court set a bail of UAH 120 million for suspect Chernyshov. He is obliged to: refrain from communicating with other suspects, as well as with witnesses; not leave the territory of Ukraine without permission; appear upon each request; report any change in his place of residence and work.
The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office once again asked to extend these obligations for another two months.
To extend the term of the suspect (Chernyshov – ed.) of the obligations stipulated in Part 5 of Article 194 of the Criminal Procedure Code until August 4, 2026 inclusive, but not longer than the term of the pre-trial investigation
Oleksiy Chernyshov is a suspect in the EBK database.
We previously reported that the SAPO and NABU announced the completion of the investigation into a corruption case in the construction sector against the former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, who previously held the position of Minister of Community and Territorial Development, and five other individuals.
