HACC Extends Investigation into Chernyshov Case image

The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court has extended until December 8 the investigation into the case of suspicion of former Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of National Unity Oleksiy Chernyshov and others in abusing their official position and receiving illegal benefits in the form of discounts on apartments.

This decision was made by the investigating judge of the HACC, Ihor Strohy.

The motion is partially granted. The term of the pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is extended to five months, i.e. until December 12, 2025 inclusive.

Oleksiy Chernyshov is a suspect in the EBK database.

We will remind, earlier the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office reported suspicions of Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of National Unity Oleksiy Chernyshov in abuses and obtaining illegal benefits.

We also reported that the HACC left Chernyshov's preventive measure unchanged.
