The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court will consider an appeal against the verdict sentencing the former deputy head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, Ihor Haiduk, to 8 years and 2 months.
As is known, the anti-corruption court found former deputy head of the Ternopil Oblast Administrative District Ihor Haiduk guilty of requesting UAH 1.8 million in illegal benefits. He was sentenced to 8 years and 2 months in prison with a 3-year ban on holding certain positions and confiscation of his Toyota Avensis. His defense attorney filed an appeal.
To open an appeal proceeding on the appeal of the defendant's defense counsel against the verdict of the High Anti-Corruption Court of March 6, 2025 in criminal proceedings on the accusation (of Haiduk - ed.) of committing a crime under Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. To set a deadline of April 25, 2025 inclusive for filing possible objections to the appeal

The investigation established that in June 2023, the deputy head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, together with another deputy, asked the entrepreneur for UAH 1.8 million for payment of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration's debt to the company for work performed and accepted in 2022, as well as for assistance in concluding new and financing existing contracts with this company.
As for the other deputy, the materials regarding him have been separated into a separate proceeding, but the consideration has been suspended due to his mobilization.
