HACC denies foreign travel for AMCU chief Kyrylenko and his wife image

The High Anti-Corruption Court has refused to grant permission to travel abroad to the head of the Antimonopoly Committee, Pavlo Kyrylenko, and his wife Alla. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses them of illegally enriching themselves by UAH 72.1 million, as well as of false declarations.

As is known, the anti-corruption court refused to arrest Kyrylenko and released him on bail of UAH 30.28 million. He was also given the following obligations: to appear upon first demand; to report a change of residence; not to leave Kyiv without permission; to refrain from communicating with witnesses; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.

Later, Kyrylenko was removed from the electronic bracelet and allowed to move freely around Ukraine. The defense attorney for the AMCU chairman and his wife requested permission to travel abroad. Kyrylenko requested to attend a meeting of the Competition Committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and his wife requested to go on vacation.

Earlier, the High Anti-Corruption Court extended the term of office of the head of the Antimonopoly Committee, Pavlo Kyrylenko, until July 18. In addition, the court extended the term of office of Kyrylenko's wife, Alla, until July 18. She has the same list of obligations, except for surrendering her passport.
