HACC upholds suspicion against energy minister's adviser

The High Anti-Corruption Court did not cancel the notice of suspicion served on the advisor to the Minister of Energy, Maksym Nemchynov, for involvement in coal abuse.
This decision was made by the investigating judge of the Supreme Court of Ukraine Volodymyr Voronko.
As indicated, Nemchynov's lawyer filed a complaint against the notification of suspicion. According to the defense, the serving of the suspicion was illegal and subject to cancellation.

We also wrote earlier that the High Anti-Corruption Court extended until March 26 the pre-trial investigation into the case of suspicion of abuse of power by the advisor to the Minister of Energy, Maksym Nemchynov, former MP Volodymyr Vecherko, and former General Director of the state-owned enterprise Ukrvuhilya, Vitaliy Zyusko.
