HACC reduces bail for Antimonopoly Committee head
On January 19, the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACC) partially satisfied the defense's motion and reduced the bail for the head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, Pavlo Kyrylenko, from UAH 25 million to UAH 20 million.
This is stated in a report by Transparency International Ukraine.
The court also granted the prosecutor's request and extended the additional duties of Kyrylenko and his wife Alla for another two months.
Pavlo Kyrylenko is a suspect in the EBK database.
He is suspected of failing to declare 20 real estate properties and a BMW X3 car registered to his wife's relatives. Earlier it was reported that investigators have completed the investigation into Pavlo Kyrylenko .
We also reported that the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office is requesting the removal of the accused Pavlo Kyrylenko from the position of Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee so that he cannot influence a judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
