The Supreme Court did not stay the execution of the sentence sentencing Mykola Shershak, a judge of the Zarechny District Court of Sumy, to 7 years in prison for receiving unlawful benefits.

As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court found Judge Shershak guilty of receiving unlawful benefit. He was sentenced to 7 years in prison with confiscation of property. The Appeals Chamber of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court left this sentence unchanged. Therefore, the defense filed cassation appeals. At the same time, they requested to suspend the execution of the sentence.
