The Supreme Court dismissed Ivan Tulyk from the position of judge of the Rakhiv District Court of the Transcarpathian region for committing a significant disciplinary offense.

As is known, the High Council of Justice brought Judge Ivan Tulyk to disciplinary responsibility for committing a significant misconduct. The Disciplinary Chamber of the Supreme Judicial Council determined that he should be dismissed as punishment. On March 6, 2025, the Supreme Judicial Council upheld this decision and dismissed Tulyk. At the same time, he filed a complaint against this decision with the Grand Chamber and requested that it be overturned.

The complaint (Tulyk) against the decision of the High Council of Justice of Ukraine dated March 6, 2025 “On leaving unchanged the decision of the First Disciplinary Chamber of the High Council of Justice of Ukraine dated November 25, 2024 on bringing to disciplinary responsibility a judge of the Rakhiv District Court of the Transcarpathian region (Tulyk – ed.)” shall be dismissed, and the decision of the High Council of Justice dated March 6, 2025 shall be left unchanged. The resolution shall enter into force from the date of its adoption, shall be final and shall not be subject to appeal.
