The Supreme Court will consider an appeal against the sentence that sentenced former Deputy Head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration Ihor Gaiduk to 8 years and 2 months for receiving illegal benefits.

As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court found former deputy head of the Ternopil Oblast Administrative Court Ihor Gaiduk guilty of requesting UAH 1.8 million in illegal benefits. He was sentenced to 8 years and 2 months in prison with a 3-year ban on holding certain positions and confiscation of his Toyota Avensis. The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court upheld this verdict. Therefore, Haiduk's defense lawyer filed a cassation appeal against these decisions.
