Supreme Court to Review Reva’s Appeal

The Supreme Court will consider an appeal against the sentence that sentenced Lyubov Revi, the former acting director of the state enterprise "Research Farm "Chervony Zhemelorob", to 7 years in prison.
As is known, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court found the former acting director of the state enterprise "Chervony zemlerob" Lyubov Reva guilty. She was sentenced to 7 years and 1 month in prison with confiscation of half of her property and a ban on holding certain positions for 3 years. Later, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court reduced the sentence to 7 years. Reva's lawyer filed a cassation appeal.
To open cassation proceedings on the cassation appeal of the defense lawyer, acting in the interests of the convicted person (Lyubov Reva - ed.), against the verdict of the High Anti-Corruption Court dated March 10, 2025 and the ruling of the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court dated May 21, 2025
Lyubov Reva is a figurehead of the EBK base.
Recall that, according to the investigation, in 2016, the former acting director of a state-owned enterprise and her accomplice concluded fictitious contracts between themselves to provide legal services to the company, as well as acts of work performed.
After that, the above documents were submitted to the Commercial Court of Kirovohrad Region in a bankruptcy case with an application to include monetary claims in the amount of over UAH 3.5 million in the register of creditors' claims of the above-mentioned state-owned enterprise. However, the funds were never seized due to circumstances beyond their control.
