Prosecutors appealed refusal for in-absentia probe of Lohvynskyi image

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has filed an appeal against the refusal to grant permission for an in-person investigation into former MP Heorhiy Logvinsky, whom the NABU and SAPO suspect of organizing the embezzlement of over UAH 54 million in state funds.

This is stated in the decision of the Appeals Chamber of the HIgh Anti-Corruption Court dated April 7, media reports.

Previously, the Supreme Court of Ukraine refused to grant permission for an in absentia investigation into Logvinsky. Therefore, the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office filed an appeal against this decision.
