HACC to hear case of former Dnipropetrovsk official

The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled a hearing on the case of the former first deputy head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Orlov, accused of extorting illegal benefits.
This decision was made by the Supreme Court of Ukraine.
To schedule a trial of the criminal proceedings on the accusation (Orlov – ed.) of committing a criminal offense, provided for in Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, in a court session in the courtroom of the High Anti-Corruption Court. The trial of the criminal proceedings shall be conducted by a single judge
It was previously reported that the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office sent an indictment to the court against the former first deputy head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Orlov.
Last year, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court increased the bail amount from UAH 15 to 22 million, set as a preventive measure for Volodymyr Orlov.
