Appeal filed over confiscation of ex-TCP chief’s assets
The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court will consider an appeal against the decision that confiscated a house with a land plot and a car worth UAH 786,000 from the former head of the Zaporizhia Regional TCP and SS, Hennadiy Yaremenko, as state revenue.
The High Anti-Corruption Court has confiscated the assets of the former head of the Zaporizhia Regional TCP, Gennady Yaremenko. One of the lawyers has filed a complaint against this decision.
To open an appeal proceeding on the lawyer's appeal against the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court dated January 2, 2026 in the case of the claim of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office against (Yaremenko Gennadiy Mykhailovych, Yaremenko Tetyana Petrovna, Soroka Diana Gennadiyevna) on the recognition of assets as unfounded and their recovery into state revenue. To set a deadline of March 16, 2026 inclusive for the participants in the case to submit a response to the appeal to the High Anti-Corruption Court

We also previously wrote that in the Zhytomyr region, law enforcement officers detained two servicemen of the TCP and SS, who are suspected of organizing a bribery scheme to remove the "wanted" status from those liable for military service. The two defendants in the case have already been notified of the suspicion.
