Appeal keeps MP Bondar in custody

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court left MP Viktor Bondar in custody and did not change his alternative bail amount to UAH 100 million.
This was reported by the press service of the AC HACC, but did not mention the politician's name. According to media reports, this is Bondar, who was previously arrested with a 100 million UAH bail, because he did not comply with the previous decision on a preventive measure in the form of bail without arrest. The HACC also reported that, as of February 28, the bail had not been received.
The Administrative Court of the Supreme Court of Justice considered the appeals of the defense against the decision of the investigating judge of the Supreme Court of Justice dated February 14, 2025 on changing the preventive measure in the form of detention with the alternative of paying bail in the amount of UAH 100 million to the People's Deputy of Ukraine. Based on the results of the consideration, the panel of judges of the Administrative Court of Justice dismissed the appeals, and the decision of the investigating judge of the Supreme Court of Justice remained unchanged.
We will remind, recently the High Anti-Corruption Court took MP Viktor Bondar into custody because he failed to pay the UAH 100 million bail set for him as a preventive measure in the case of misappropriation of funds of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia.
