The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court has placed businessman Serhiy Tyshchenko under 24-hour house arrest after his detention expired. The NABU and SAPO suspect him of misappropriating nationalized oil products belonging to oligarch Serhiy Kurchenko worth approximately UAH 817 million.

As is known, the anti-corruption court extended Tyshchenko's arrest until February 12. The arrest was not extended until this date, and therefore the suspect's detention period expired. Therefore, the NABU detective requested that Tyshchenko be placed under 24-hour house arrest with the following obligations: to appear upon each request to the detective, prosecutor, and court; to refrain from communicating with a number of persons; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.

The motion is granted. To apply a preventive measure in the form of house arrest to the suspect (Tyshchenko – ed.), prohibiting the suspect from leaving his permanent place of residence 24 hours a day. The term of the resolution is two months, until April 17, 2025 inclusive, but within the term of the pre-trial investigation

– the decision states.

Previously, NABU and SAPO completed the investigation into the case of suspicion of former MP Serhiy Pashynskyi and businessman Serhiy Tyshchenko in the seizure of nationalized petroleum products of oligarch Serhiy Kurchenko worth approximately UAH 817 million.

Let us remind you that Serhiy Pashinsky is a person involved in the EBK base.
