Court allowed ex-military commissar Borysov to travel within Odesa region

The Primorsky District Court of Odessa has allowed former military commissar of Odessa region Yevhen Borisov to leave the city and move within the entire region. This is in connection with the consideration of a case regarding obstruction of the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the defense, such a decision is necessary because Borisov must regularly meet with lawyers, some of whom work outside the city. During the hearing, lawyer Oleksandr Makovetsky also emphasized that his client is undergoing a number of medical procedures, including tomography, for which the electronic bracelet creates obstacles.
Given that he is undergoing a series of treatments, doctors cannot perform appropriate manipulations through a device like a bracelet. Therefore, we asked him to remove it and not use it.
The court has not yet separately considered the issue of temporarily removing or disabling electronic monitoring devices during medical interventions. It is planned to bring it up at future hearings.
In total, the amount of bail in three of the four criminal proceedings opened against Borisov has already exceeded 100 million hryvnia.
Yevgeny Borisov is a figure in the EBK database.
Earlier, Yevhen Borisov was chosen as a preventive measure. The judge of the Primorsky District Court of Odessa set a bail of 20 million hryvnias. The lawyers will appeal the decision. The session on choosing a preventive measure lasted almost a month: from October 3.
