In Odessa, a corruption scheme was exposed in one of the district territorial recruitment and social support centers (DTCP and SP).

This was reported on March 19 by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odessa region.

According to the investigation, an official from the administrative department of the TCP promised a soldier of the assault regiment 300 thousand hryvnias to assist in transferring him from the front line to a rear unit.

For this money, the police clarified, he promised to influence DTCP officials to ensure the soldier's transfer, and in the future, to organize his discharge from military service due to health reasons through the military medical commission (MMC).

Law enforcement officers detained a TCP official immediately after receiving a bribe. He was charged under Part 2 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — abuse of influence. This is punishable by a fine of 34,000 to 93,500 hryvnias or imprisonment for a term of 2 to 5 years. The suspect is currently in custody. The court set him bail in the amount of 998,400 hryvnias

We will remind, former prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office Kulik appealed the arrest in absentia.

We also reported that internal security of the Security Service of Ukraine detained two high-ranking officials of regional departments of the SSU for taking a bribe.
