HACC Keeps Bail Unchanged for Ex-Kharkiv RMA Official
The High Anti-Corruption Court did not change the preventive measure of UAH 3 million bail applied to the former head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Viktoria Belyavtseva. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses her of embezzling more than UAH 15 million for the purchase of humanitarian aid.
As is known, the anti-corruption court imposed a preventive measure in the form of a bail of UAH 3.63 million on Belyavtseva. Later, the bail was reduced to UAH 3 million. Her defense attorney filed a motion to change the bail amount to UAH 998,400.
