Recall, NABU and SAPO reported suspicions to People's Deputy Robert Horvat and three other individuals. According to the investigation, in 2016-2019, the politician, having influence over officials of the State Geocadastre of Transcarpathia, developed a scheme to seize land plots with a total area of 323 hectares. These lands were in permanent use of the State Enterprise "Leanka".
According to the criminal plan, the director of the State Enterprise "Leanka" was to renounce the right to use the land and apply to the regional State Geocadastre with a corresponding application. After the termination of the right to use, the head of the regional State Geocadastre issued the land plots to predetermined individuals, who subsequently sold them to a company controlled by the organizer of the scheme. As a result of such actions, the state suffered more than 123 million UAH in losses.
