HACC schedules hearing in MP Didenko’s false declaration case

The High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled a hearing for February 17 to consider the criminal proceedings on charges of false declarations by Yulia Didenko, a member of parliament from the Servant of the People party, and her husband Hryhoriy, who heads the Odessa Regional Council.
This decision was made yesterday by the HACC.
The case is being heard by Anti-Corruption Court Judge Timur Khamzin. The hearing will take place at 3:00 p.m. on February 17.
Hryhoriy Didenko and Yulia Didenko are suspects in the EBK base.
Recently, NABU and SAPO referred to court the case of the Head of the Odessa Regional Council, Hryhoriy Didenko, and his wife, People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 9th convocation, Yulia Didenko, which concerns false declaration of property worth over 8 million hryvnias.
According to the investigation, the couple did not reflect property worth more than 8 million hryvnias in their annual tax declarations for 2021–2023. These are assets that, according to the investigation, they were required to declare.
