HACC extended duties for ex-Zaporizhzhia Regional Council deputy

The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended the term of office of the suspended Deputy Chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, Vladyslav Kutsenko, until April 6. The SAPO accuses him of providing over UAH 650,000 in illegal benefits to the director of the Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine.
As is known, the court arrested Kutsenko with the alternative of 3 million UAH bail. This money was paid for him and he was released from the pre-trial detention center under the following obligations: to arrive at the first request; not to leave the territory of Ukraine without permission; to report a change in his place of residence and/or place of work; to refrain from communicating with other suspects in this criminal proceeding and witnesses; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.
Later, the bracelet was removed from him and his international passports were returned. Therefore, the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office requested that the remaining duties be extended. The court extended them, but canceled the obligation to appear on demand.
Partially satisfy the request of the SAPO prosecutor to extend the term of the duties imposed on the accused (Kutsenko – ed.) in criminal proceedings. The term of the ruling shall be set until April 6, 2025 inclusive.
Previously, the High Anti-Corruption Court assigned to consider the merits of criminal proceedings on charges of Deputy Chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council Vladyslav Kutsenko and two other individuals in providing more than 650 thousand UAH of illegal benefit to the director of the "Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine".
Let us remind you that Vladyslav Kutsenko is a person involved in the EBK base.
