HACC to hear case of Special Forces Command official

The High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled for consideration criminal proceedings on the accusation of Oleksandr Tyrsha, head of the resistance movement's infrastructure support group of the Resistance Movement Directorate of the Special Operations Forces Command, of receiving unlawful benefits.
To schedule a trial on the basis of the indictment in criminal proceedings on the charge (of Tirsha) of committing a criminal offense under Part 5 of Article 27, Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, at the premises of the Higher Criminal Court of Ukraine
The case will be heard by a panel of three judges. The next hearing is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on April 1.
Earlier, the National Police detained a representative of the SFC Oleksandr Tyrsha and an official of the Ministry of Defense after receiving the first tranche of illegal profit of $100,000. According to the investigation, they demanded these funds for a private enterprise winning a tender for the construction of a 16-story residential building in Kyiv in the Svyatoshynskyi district on Mykhailivska Borshchahivka. Later, the case was transferred to the NABU. Recently, their arrest was extended.
