Supreme Court Upholds Car Confiscation for Moraru image

The Supreme Court did not stay the execution of the decision to confiscate the Mercedes-Benz G 400 d car of the mother of Andriy Morar, Head of the Department of Migration Control, Counteraction to Illegal Migration and Readmission of the Main Department of the State Migration Service in the Odessa Region.

As is known, the HIgh Anti-Corruption Court confiscated the car of the head of the State Migration Service Department in the Odessa region, Andriy Morara. The Appellate Chamber of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court left this decision unchanged.

The motion (Moraru – ed.), on behalf of which attorney Maksym Mykolayovych Krainyukov acts, to suspend the execution of the resolution of the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court dated March 25, 2025, is denied.

We will remind, in November 2023, the SAPO prosecutor, based on the materials of the National Agency, as well as evidence collected by NABU and SAPO, filed a lawsuit with the court to recognize the assets of the former deputy head of the department of one of the customs posts of the Odessa Customs of the State Customs Service as unfounded, as well as to recover their value from him - UAH 2.83 million.
