Supreme Court to hear appeal in ex-Judicial Administration head case

The Supreme Court has completed preparations for considering an appeal against the verdict sentencing former head of the State Judicial Administration, Oleksiy Salnikov, to 3 years in prison for abuse of influence.
As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court found former SJA Chairman Oleksiy Salnikov guilty of abuse of influence and sentenced him to 3 years of deprivation of liberty . The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court left this verdict unchanged. Therefore, his defense attorney filed a cassation appeal against the verdict.
To complete the preparation and schedule the criminal proceedings on the cassation appeal of the defendant's defense attorney (Salnikov - ed.) against the verdict of the AC HACC dated August 6, 2025 and the resolution of the Administrative Court of the Supreme Court dated December 2, 2025 for consideration in cassation by the Supreme Court by the panel of judges of the Second Judicial Chamber of the Criminal Court of Cassation at 11:00 on April 14, 2026

Recall that, according to the prosecution, the head of the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine received $7,500 from an individual in March of this year. He was supposed to keep part of these funds for himself, and $5,000 was supposed to be transferred to the judges of the Supreme Court for making a decision in the interests of a commercial enterprise.
