Law enforcement officers suspect a member of an expert team at one of Kharkiv's hospitals of false declarations. According to the investigation, he failed to declare two cars worth over 3.2 million hryvnias.

According to the investigation, when submitting the annual tax return for 2025, the man did not declare the Volkswagen Tiguan and Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, which are registered to his wife. The prosecutor's office claims that the couple live together and lead a common life.

According to the investigation, the total value of these cars exceeds 3.2 million hryvnias. The man was informed of suspicion of entering false information into the declaration.

The sanction of the incriminated article provides for a fine of up to six thousand tax-free minimum incomes of citizens or community service for a term of 150 to 240 hours, or restriction of liberty for a term of up to two years, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years, the police reported.
