SAPO withdraws appeal in former Kirovohrad court chairman case

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court closed the proceedings on the complaints of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and the defense against the verdict, which found the former head of the Oleksandrivskyi District Court of Kirovohrad region, Pavlo Ivchenko, guilty of abuse of influence and fined him UAH 93,500.
As is known, the anti-corruption court found the former head of the Oleksandrivskyi District Court Pavlo Ivchenko guilty of abuse of influence. He was sentenced to a fine of UAH 93,500 (the maximum fine provided for by the article). The defendant's defense attorney and the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office filed appeals against this verdict .
The verdict against the former head of the Oleksandrivskyi district court of Kirovohrad region has entered into force. The court of first instance imposed a fine of UAH 93,500 on him, which is the maximum fine provided for by Part 2 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. On July 29, the panel of judges of the AC of the HACC closed the appeal proceedings due to the refusal of the defense and the prosecutor to file appeals.
