HACC to hear ex-MP Granovskyi case by panel of judges image

The High Anti-Corruption Court will hear a collegial three-judge panel of criminal proceedings on charges of former MP Oleksandr Granovsky and others for abuse at the Odessa Port Plant.

To grant the motion of the defendants' defense counsel for a collegial review of the criminal proceedings on the charges of Hranovsky Oleksandr Mykhailovych, Tkachenko Olha Serhiivna, Chumak Pavlo Oleksandrovych, Kiminchidzhi Stepan Ivanovych and Chychylnytsky Igor Oleksandrovych in the commission of the relevant criminal offenses. To transfer a copy of the resolution to the department for ensuring the functioning of the automated and electronic court of the document flow and organizational support department of the High Anti-Corruption Court for re-distribution of judges in order to increase the composition of the court to three judges

– announced the judge of the Supreme Court of Justice.

Oleksandr Granovsky is a suspect in the EBK database.

Earlier, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office sent an indictment to the court in the case of abuse at the Odessa Port Plant, where the defendants include a former People's Deputy and his confidant. According to media reports, this is former People's Deputy Oleksandr Granovsky and his assistant Olga Tkachenko.
