In Rivne, the law enforcement officers exposed four more doctors involved in the scheme of illegal registration of disability to avoid mobilization. According to the regional prosecutor's office, doctors falsified medical documents, entering fictitious data about tests and examinations in medical histories, which allowed men of military age to obtain grounds for traveling abroad. It was announced on November 1.

As it became known earlier, in October, a 50-year-old manager of a real estate agency was detained, who organized a scheme to issue fake disability certificates . The woman involved 26 doctors, in particular officials of medical and social expert commissions of the Rivne region. During the searches, more than 14 million hryvnias in cash, probably obtained illegally, were found in the possession of the suspects.

The investigation also established that 46-year-old neuropathologist Iryna Holosinyuk was among the participants of the scheme . Recently, investigators discovered four more people involved: the manager and a doctor of one of the dispensaries in Rivne, acting the head of the hospital department and the doctor of another medical institution.

Law enforcement officials note that these doctors falsified medical histories, indicating false examination results. Based on these data, the medical advisory commissions referred patients to the MSEC, where they received disability groups. This gave the evaders the right to be exempted from mobilization and the opportunity to go abroad.

The court chose a preventive measure in the form of a personal bond for all four suspects. They face up to five years in prison for official falsification of documents with prior conspiracy (part 1 of article 366, part 3 of article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

We also reported that in 2024, 64 MSEC employees were suspected of committing crimes, and 9 people have already been convicted . In addition, 4,106 fictitious disability certificates, which were issued on the basis of forged documents, were cancelled.
