HACC extends obligations for former Prosecutor General’s Office official image

The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended the term of office of former prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office, Oleg Hunko, until August 22. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses him of receiving illegal benefits.

As is known, the anti-corruption court extended Hunko's arrest with alternative bail. Money was deposited for Hunko and he was released from custody. The suspect was given the following obligations: to appear upon every request; not to leave Kyiv without permission; to report a change of residence; to refrain from communicating with four persons; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.

Later, the electronic bracelet was removed from him and he was allowed to leave Kyiv to travel to the village of Maznyky, Khmelnytskyi district, Khmelnytskyi region. The SAPO prosecutor again requested that these obligations be extended.

To extend the term of the duties assigned to the accused (Hunka) for two months. To set the term of the duties until August 22, 2026 inclusive
